These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all individuals who enrol in or enquire about courses offered by Tanjung Capital ("we", "us", "the Company"). By submitting an enrolment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
"Course" refers to any structured learning programme offered by Tanjung Capital, including Long Views, Equity Markets for Patient Investors, and Coordinated Retirement Income. "Participant" refers to any individual who has enrolled in a Course. "Cohort" refers to the specific group of Participants attending a given course intake. "Session" refers to an individual class meeting within a Course.
2. Enrolment and Confirmation
Enrolment in a Course is confirmed only upon receipt of full course fee payment and written confirmation from Tanjung Capital. An enquiry or expression of interest does not constitute a confirmed enrolment. We will issue a confirmation by email within two working days of receiving payment. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-confirmed basis.
3. Course Fees and Payment
Current course fees are as follows:
- Long Views — Personal Finance for the Years Ahead: S$385 (6 weeks)
- Equity Markets for Patient Investors: S$580 (8 weeks)
- Coordinated Retirement Income: S$775 (9 weeks)
Fees are stated in Singapore dollars and are inclusive of all course materials, workbooks, and the personal summary document prepared under instructor guidance. GST, if applicable, will be stated separately on your invoice. Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless a written payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.
4. Withdrawal and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change. The following refund schedule applies to all Courses.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@tanjungcs. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method. Course fees are not transferable to another person without prior written approval.
5. Cohort Size and Availability
Each course intake is limited to a small number of participants in order to support meaningful group discussion and individual instructor attention. Cohort sizes are set at the sole discretion of Tanjung Capital. If a cohort is full at the time of your enquiry, we will offer to place you on a waiting list for the next available intake. We do not hold places without confirmed payment.
6. Participant Conduct
All Participants are expected to engage with the course material and fellow participants in a respectful and collegial manner. Tanjung Capital reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw a Participant from a Course where their conduct is disruptive or inconsistent with the collaborative spirit of the programme. In such cases, refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of personal financial matters shared by other Participants during group discussions.
7. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials, workbooks, readings, and frameworks provided to Participants remain the intellectual property of Tanjung Capital or their respective authors. Materials are provided for the personal use of enrolled Participants only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared with third parties without prior written consent. The personal summary document prepared by each Participant under instructor guidance belongs to that Participant.
8. Educational Purpose — Not Investment Advice
The courses offered by Tanjung Capital are educational programmes. Their content is intended to develop financial literacy and planning skills. Nothing presented in any course constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any specific financial product, including CPF products, equities, exchange-traded funds, or insurance products. Participants are encouraged to seek advice from a licensed financial adviser before making any financial decision. Tanjung Capital does not hold a capital markets services licence or a financial adviser's licence and is not authorised to provide regulated financial advice under Singapore law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tanjung Capital's total liability to any Participant in connection with a Course shall not exceed the course fee paid by that Participant. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses of any kind. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Changes to Courses and Schedule
Tanjung Capital reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, session format (in-person or online), and instructors. Where a material change is made after enrolment has been confirmed, we will notify affected Participants as soon as possible and offer the option to withdraw with a full refund if the change is unacceptable to them. We will not make changes lightly, and aim to honour the programme as described at the time of enrolment.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
